Heads or Harps Theatre Company was founded in 1987 by Brid Gavin
O'Connell and Joyce Raye. The company existed for a period of
10 years. During that period the company staged approximately
20 productions.
In 1994 they took their production of 'The Factory Girls' to the
Battersea Arts Centre in London and in July 1995 they ran 'Moonshine'
in both the Galway Arts Festival and the Edinburgh Theatre Festival.

was directed by Geraldine MacDermotte-Roe and ran first at the Town
Hall Theatre, Galway before transferring to the Fringe Festival
in Edinburgh in August .

one week in Dec '91 in Punchbag Theatre

One of the first plays produced by the Heads or Harps theatre group
was the double bill of On The Outside and Sow the Wind
which ran at the Parochial Hall.
